We are looking for funding for Ropox Vision Tables. This table is designed for wheelchair users to enable them to do their studies, crafts, reading and play more independently. The table has many amazing features including –
- Tilting table top – perfect for individuals that have a visual impairment or have difficulties leaning over a table. The back of the table top tilts towards the user to enable easier access and usage. The table top tilts up to 71 degrees. The tilting table top is also magnetic, as a result, individuals are able to keep their documents in place with the magnetic ruler that is available as an extra.
- Height adjustable – the table has a manual wind handle that can raise and lower the height of the table, this ensures it will meet the individual needs.
- Easily moveable – the table has built-in castors with brakes on the legs. This ensures the table is easily moved and it is also stable and safe when it is safely positioned, and the brakes applied.
After trialling a similar table, we feel this table would be greatly beneficial to our young people that are home educated.
