We are extremely proud to have won the Allied Mobility Charity of the year award at Octobers DMUK Awards . The event was held at the prestigious Victory Services Club London . Alongside our award our youth ambassador was also presented with a cheque for £1,000 from Allied Mobility that we have used to book this years annual family day in August .
Allied Mobility said “We was delighted to partner with Disabled Motoring UK to sponsor a new, national award for the Disability Charity of the Year.We decided we would honour the countless people across the UK and Ireland who dedicate their time and expertise to helping disabled people. We launched a week-long competition on our Facebook page to find the 2018 Disabled Charity of the Year. With over 800 entries, and a very difficult judging day, the winner was eventually announced at the DMUK Awards.
Allied Mobility was delighted to crown Strongbones Children’s Charitable Trust as the overall winner. We spent the evening with youth ambassador Myles Sketchley, and his family, who were there to collect the award”
