On Saturday 3rd September 2011 we set off to the city of London for a family day with a group of families. The day started with a ride on the London Eye, which allowed the children to view the city of London in its magnificant entirety. This was followed by a riverboat cruise on an open top boat along the River Thames, where the children learned about all the famous landmarks from a tour guide. We then set off for lunch at Pizza Express, finished by a trip to the London Sealife Aquarium. The Aquarium was an amazing sensory experience for the children, who got to see neon coloured jellyfish, giant sea turtles and lots of other unusual marine life. They also got to touch sea enemies, which closed to the children’s touch. The day was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
