This year has saw the start of a new small project which is to deliver balloons to Strongbones children undergoing major surgery or admitted into hospital unwell. Hospital wards can be very sterile looking and need a splash of colour to brighten up the bed area. The balloons arrive on the ward in a 5ft tall box with a huge ribbon and all the parents inform us they bring the biggest of smiles.
