Miss Universe Essex brought smiles to children at Basildon Hospital with a festive trip supplying over £500 worth of toys to the children’s wards. Rebecca Bowler (Miss Universe Essex Charity) dressed as a princess to distribute wrapped presents to the children on the wards along with other members of the competition. The staff and families at the hospital where overwhelmed with the visit and the new toys are a very welcome edition to the ward. Miss Universe Essex have provided a huge amount of support to Essex hospitals over the last twelve months including portable cast saws, toys, books, craft kits and various items of orthopaedic equipment.
