The AACtivity is an amazing communicator and musical instrument in one that is a highly versatile piece of equipment. It has 8 large colourful buttons, 8 levels and up to 8 minutes of recording time. The AACtivity Communicator also benefits from 64 pre-recorded sounds arranged in 8 categories. Selecting the freestyle music activity allows the unit to be used as a single octave piano, whereas selecting the music scanning activity allows the user to play well-known songs by following the scanning lights. It can also be used as a communication aid for non-verbal users and users who need help with speech. We are very excited to be rolling these out in 2025 on a larger scale to children across the UK.
